Lymes' Disease - the trip to HELL and BACK?
First of all I must say PLEASE protect yourself against Tick, Mosquito and Fly Bites.
Visit our store at
https://www.etsy.com/listing/153602730/8-oz-family-size-best-selling-deet-free? I'm a stay-at-home Mom of 4 and my dedication is helping spread the word on this devastating disease. Thanks and God Bless!
Setting up at Farmers Markets a couple of days a week selling our Go Away Tick and Skeeter Repellant (Deet Free of Course:) I've been talking to alot of people who have had Lymes Disease.
It truly is a very sad story for many. Some get diagnosed right away and are completely fine with having no troubles at all. Others, I believe, never get diagnosed and are trying to walk through life finding what is wrong with them. Then we have the ones who have been diagnosed and feel the effects of Lyme's Disease daily in very unpleasant ways.
Sanity is something you don't take for granted. When you have your wits about you you are on top of your game. Add a little anxiety, dizziness, chronic fatigue and then some serious anxiety then you feel like you are just losing your mind.
My husband has been dealing with debilitating anxiety and stress over this Lymes' Disease. I have to be very careful in what I say to him to not put him in another panick attack. I want very much to watch, "Under Our Skin" with him but at this point he can't handle the reality of what is going on in his body and mind. He realizes Lymes Disease is a bacteria. A type of bacteria that is mutant and changes shapes just to keep from being destroyed by the given antibiotic the doctor feels is right for the moment. "Under Our Skin" is a documentary on the knitty gritty about Lyme's which most doctors won't and don't know to tell you.
I've had to totally rearrange my whole schedule to help my husband. He needs someone to be with him during this difficult time. During the days where anxiety is 24/7 he prefers to be with me. I understand as at one time I used to have anxiety attacks quite often and wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy. I don't mind putting things off to help him as I would want him to be there for me. It has been three weeks of sure struggle for John having Bells Palsey with both sides of his face being paralyzed, extreme anxiety, and utter complete exhaustion.
Talking with people that have been diagnosed with Lyme's Disease I have been finding that anxiety, brain fog, helplessness often is accompanied with Lyme's Disease. Which has me thinking how many people are out there with Lyme's that are half nuts due to this highly undiagnosed disease? We believe now that my husband was first infected 12 years ago when we lived down in Arkansas. He had the rash, but we were looking specifically for a bullseye. From the time of his tick bite his ability to function slowly deteriorated, turning into years full of chronic fatigue, bouts of depression and anxiety, and also being highly sensitive to noises. He thought all of his joint pain was due to the hard years of Concrete Construction he had done in his younger years.
Many times I had told the doctors I had thought my husband had Lymes' Disease. For one doctors don't want to be told anything really on what you think and second of all most doctors don't know a rats rearend about Lymes'. What is even more discouraging is that the Lymes' test is known to be 70% inaccurate. Wow! So much for medical help!
Anyhow, from what I gathered talking to others, having Lyme's Disease that effects your brain is like bungi jumping and not having the cord attached.
Will be posting more as time goes on.
We'll be looking for a specialist in Lyme's Disease.
Today he is also going to see someone who does Muscle Testing who is very educated and knowledgeable about Lymes', so I will post what we learn. Hopefully, we by that time will have watched, "Under Our Skin".
Blessings and thanks for reading <3 <3 <3

I'm really TICKED OFF about LYMES Disease and Ticks
I recently wrote to Whole Foods stating why I thought our Naturally Northwoods Deet Free Mosquito and Tick Repellant should be in their stores and I thought I should share it with you. Please read all the way to the bottom as it goes into the start of our own personal journey with the horrible LYMES DISEASE.
Just wanted to touch base about our Deet Free.
I've been working a booth at our local Farmers Market Up North in the Northwoods and must say the response has been overwhelming with the Go Away Mosquito and Tick Spray. In the past years I've just sold to my regular stores so this was the first time I've had feedback from our customers.
They love our product at the Farmers Market. Some go for the 8 oz, others the 6 oz and then some tend to buy the small 2 oz bottle of the Deet Free to see how it works first. The ones who bought the 2 oz. came back and bought 3 and 4 8 oz. bottles for their grown children's families.
They LOVE the smell of the 8 essential oils of the Deet Free Mosquito and Tick Repellant. I even had a lady from Madison that bought one at your store and said it smelled horrible:) (I'm sure they don't all smell horrible but what are the odds:)
I've always had confidence in our Deet Free but now I'm thinking our Deet FREE really needs to be in Whole Foods, don't you?
Let me send some for the remaining of the season. Our season ends early up here because of the tourists stop coming up by the end of August but I'm sure yours might go into September?
Please let me know and we can ship out right away.
Sincerely,
Susan
PS The DNR states that Ticks are only repelled by Eucalyptus and Pyrythemin. We'll go with the Eucalyptus:) Going Deet Free is the ANSWER as they say DEET does NOT work against TICKS.
Also we are educating people about Lyme's Disease. 70% of the tests they give for Lyme's is inaccurate.
My husband in the last week went to 5 different ER and Urgent Care doctors with Bells Palsey and rashes. Only the 5th diagnosed him with Lymes with Bells Palsey being the secondary infection. My husband has both the 1st and 2nd stages of Lymes which now we realize he's had for 12 years. Never once treated or diagnosed with Lymes. He was diagnosed by Dr. Wenman from Howard Young ER only because the doctor himself had Lyme's 2 years ago. Bells Palsey is where your one side of the face becomes paralyzed. My husband's whole face is now paralyzed with him even being unable to blink.
We always spray when the mosquitoes and flies are bad but really didn't for ticks as we aren't out in the woods much at all. But my husband for the last 3 weeks was doing excavating out in the forest.
I now realize he was infected with a tick bite and it wasn't long after that he came home 12 years ago and said I can't do it (work) anymore. He was building Pole Barns and doing Concrete. He dumped his company and has been only 40 to maybe 70% at his best times productive physically and mentally while trying to raise 4 children. I kept bringing up the possibility of Lymes but after 2 negative results of Lymes testing I stopped asking the doctors. Only by the Grace of God after coming down with the Bells Palsey and going into the ER where Dr. Wenman was on duty was my husband FINALLY diagnosed with Lymes Disease.
Now we have found the culprit and it is known as Lymes, a little parasite that mutates and is really smart. So we will learn all we can and educate others.
